The cable is designed to transmit high-frequency digital signal between devices according to the S / PDIF 75 oM standard. The central stranded conductor of oxygen-free copper, passing through an insulator made of polyethylene foam, has a double copper braided chield. Thick PVC armour provides protection against external action, and the outer cotton coating prevents from static charge along the entire span. Cable assembly is performed using the methods which does not allow the appearance of parasitic resonances in the soldering places. The wire has a direction, which is marked with arrows on a decorative wooden 'washer'. The wire design used materials with a neutral resonance characteristic, which do not make artificial changes in the signal passing through the cable.
RCA connectors of the cable are treated with special preservative at the final stage of assembly to reduce resistance at the point of contact and improve service life of natural gold coating of the connector. Earth contact spring-loaded at the connection enables hot silent disconnection/connection of the cable from/to operating equipment.
